The Lealman Ledger is published by The Lealman Ledger, St. Petersburg, Florida. This page explains what we collect when you read the site.
What we collect
We do not ask you to create an account. We do not sell personal information.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which stories people read and how they found them. Google Analytics sets cookies and records your approximate location, device type, browser, pages viewed and how you arrived. Google may use this data under its own privacy policy. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or by blocking cookies in your browser.
The site is served through Cloudflare, which records standard server logs (IP address, request time, pages requested) for security and performance. Cloudflare retains these under its own privacy policy.
If you email us a tip or a correction, we keep that email so we can follow up and so we have a record of what was reported. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not share your email address with anyone.
Links to other sites
Our stories link to county documents, videos and other news outlets. Those sites have their own privacy practices.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
