Who decides how Lealman’s redevelopment money is spent?

Lealman’s redevelopment decisions rest with the Pinellas County Commission. Commissioners serve as the redevelopment agency. The local advisory committee makes recommendations, but it does not have the same authority.

The Community Redevelopment Area, or CRA, covers a defined part of Lealman. The county’s boundary map matters: a Lealman address alone does not establish that a property falls inside it.

The county’s CRA page now links to its adopted fiscal 2027 work plan and fiscal 2025 performance measures. Read them together to compare the work planned with the results the county reports.
