The Pinellas County School system was forced to reopen in-person learning by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis on September 24th, 2020. The decision to reopen came despite pleas from local health officials, school board members, teachers, and parents.
SARS-Cov-2, the virus that causes Covid-19, is now spreading throughout the school system infecting teachers, students, administration staff, maintenance workers, and bus drivers.
